The Fury Of The Northmen

Sharp Jehanne (B,F)

ᚨᛚᛚᛒᛁᛏᚱ ᛃᛖᚺᚨᚾᚾᛖ

Sharp Jehanne and her identical sisters are most usually encountered near fords and bridges originally those of Northumbria, but in recent decades in each of the Four Kingdoms. They hide in whatever natural cover is provided—usually riverside trees, sometimes stationary plants on the surface of the river—and when people try to pass over the ford or bridge, Sharp Jehanne or one of her sisters leaps out, her long, dreadful shears in hand, and demands the right to shear the sheep for wool. If there are no sheep, then Sharp Jehanne shears the people of their skin.

Sharp Jehanne is a ten-foot-tall fae woman with long, flowing green hair and a savage grin.

Bleeding Shears. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) slashing damage and the target gains the bleeding condition at 2 hit points per turn.

Flay (recharge 6). Sharp Jehanne uses her shears to take a long strip of skin off of the body of one creature. The creature must make a DC 15 DEX saving throw or take 22 (4d8+4) slashing damage and gain the incapacitated condition (from shock and pain) for 1 minute. On a successful saving throw the target takes half damage.

An affected creature can make additional saving throws at the end of each turn to end the effect.

MOTIVES

Sharp Jehanne is a fae whose duty is to shear sheep or shear human skin. She can do other things if she wishes, but after a spell of independent activities she always returns to hiding by fords and bridges and threatening passing humans.

ALLIES

Sharp Jehanne and her sisters act alone or in the company of each other. When summoned by more powerful fae creatures, they work in concert with less powerful fae.
