A living embodiment of the fiery animals who roam Argstow tormenting the unfortunates trapped there. Infernal animals can’t voluntarily leave Argstow but can be summoned from it to Earth for short periods of time.

Infernal animals are enormous, animal-shaped living flames.

Illumination. An infernal animal sheds light in a 60-ft radius and dim light in an additional 60-foot radius.

Infernal Vision. Magical darkness does not impede the infernal animal’s sight.

Magic Resistance. An infernal animal rolls with advantage on saving throws against magic.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. An infernal animal makes one bite attack and four claw attacks each turn.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 15 ft, one target. Hit: 9 (1d8+4) piercing damage and 7 (1d12) fire damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d6+4) piercing damage.

Flaming Breath (recharge 6). The infernal animal exhales infernal fire in a 60-ft cone. Each creature in the area must make a DC 13 DEX saving throw or take 44 (8d10) fire damage on a failed save, or half damage on a successful one.

MOTIVES

Infernal animals were created to torment the poor mortals trapped in Argstow. When they are brought to England from Argstow it is usually for the same purposes.

Infernal animals customarily appear in the company of other summoned creatures.
